Captains,
I regret to inform you that this will be my last week working with Wargaming. For the last (almost) three years, working on the World of Warships team has easily been the highlight of my career through the good times and even the challenging times. I can't say how much I appreciate WG for allowing me to get a foot in the door into the gaming industry, allowing me to travel all over North America to meet you at our player events, and most importantly giving me the opportunity to make some of the best friendships I’ve ever had. If there is one thing you'd know about me is that I love learning. During my time with WG I've learned so much from working with people all over the world, to learning about World War history in many perspectives that…. let's just say they don't really teach you in school. This to me is absolutely priceless.
But as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end and I've recently accepted an opportunity with another local gaming studio in which I'm looking forward to taking on a new challenge. It was a difficult decision for me to make, as both you the community, and my colleagues have become my second family. However, as a part of the hiring team with some of the new talent that will be joining NA shortly, I'm optimistic and excited to watch the NA team grow and blossom into greatness from the sidelines.
With that being said, it might take some time to get a comfortable replacement for my role, so I am asking that you all please be patient and understanding to whoever will be taking my place to handle social media as it requires some pretty big shoes to fill. #humblebrag
Once again, I would like to thank you all for your hospitality while I've been shipposting on our social media channels over the years. To those of you who gave me gifts during the Anchors Away Tour, please know that I still have them and will continue to cherish them. (Except the maple candies, those were gone instantly ;) ) To everyone else, know that I won't be too far away, and I wish you fair winds and following seas, Captains!
