I think there may be a little confusion here Captain_Crunch,

Your matchmaking is not impacted by how long other players are playing the game. It purely revolves around your last 20 games (so long as you've had 20 since update 0.8.7).

Once you've had your first 20 games, MM will ensure you do not have more than 8 battles where you are bottom tier (for example Tier 8 ship in a Tier 10 game) in a series of 20 games.

Say on Day 1, you played 10 games, in which you had 3 games where you were bottom tier, and the rest you were mid/balanced/top tier.

On Day 2, you decide to play another 10 games, at very most you will have 5 games being bottom tier, the remainder will be mid/balanced/top tier.

MM will always consider the last 20 games you've played across sessions in determining what tiers you will see.

If you could please explain your frustration better I can do a better job of addressing your concerns.

Not a problem.

Thank you for giving us the chance to clarify your concern.

If you're looking for further information on the change you can find it here.

Again, once the 20 battles is played for the ship tier and battle type, then the system is done being calibrated and you will experience MM restrictions in place.

Yes - but this can be done over multiple sessions.
