[2020] Automatic chat bans need to go

If you got banned by the automated system, then you had to have said some pretty bad stuff in chat, which is a violation of our rules.

If you do not agree with a ban, you can put a customer support ticket in and they will review chat logs.

You could be getting chat banned by players as well, enough reports will get you a chat ban.

My suggestion, perhaps either disable chat, or pick the words with which you use in chat better. Be respectful and courteous and you won't get chat banned.

Here's the thing, if the things you think the things you say are innocuous, but you know you can't say them, then they are not..

We are pretty relaxed on what gets your chat banned believe it or not. And the few people that DO get chat banned do so because they aren't saying innocuous things.

Again, if you do not agree with a chat ban, you can put a ticket in to challenge it and the chat logs will be reviewed. I have seen people get unbanned before as a result of this.

Actually, assuming you put a ticket in right away, I think you'd be very surprised how fast our CSR team responds.
