What does sinking a Pirate get me?
As direct feedback from the community we have re-introduced the doubloon rewards for sinking the bounty players, in addition, we are adding the chance to win 1 of 3 Missouri's! Every time you sink a bounty you get an entry to the giveaway (Only once per battle)!
These are the rewards sinking a Pirate will give you (Only once per battle):
3x "Black, White, Red" consumable camo
10x Economic Signals (2 of each):
2x Papa Papa
2x Zulu Hotel
2x Zulu
2x Equal Speed Charlie London
2x India Bravo Terrathree
1x Jolly Roger Flag
150 Doubloons
Entry to win 1 of 3 Missouri's
This event is quite different than the past bounty events so make sure you read thoroughly through the rules if you plan to volunteer!
Firstly we have increased the amount of bounty players we plan to 600 bounty volunteers and 100 back-up volunteers! Those volunteers will be split into two task forces (TF-Alpha and TF-Bravo), those two task forces will be playing different tiers at different times to ensure that everyone has a chance across the tiers to hunt pirates! IF YOU VOLUNTEER YOU NEED TO BE AVAILABLE DURING THESE TIMES AND DAYS LISTED IN THE SPOILER UNDER THIS SECTION.
Volunteers will be checked for activity and violations (such as chat bans) and will be qualified or disqualified depending on those activity checks
THERE IS NO RESTRICTIONS ON HOW LONG YOU HAVE BEEN PLAYING WORLD OF WARSHIPS OR THE AMOUNT OF BATTLES YOU ALREADY HAVE (all players are welcome to volunteer).
You MUST be able to use Discord as that is where we will be doing all our coordinating.
You must apply to this thread with "I would like to be a Pirate!" (Disclaimer: You will not see any one else's applications but your own on this thread)
Players that are selected to be Pirates will be PM'd on the forums on the 24th-25th with an invite code to the event discord and will be told what Task Force they are on. You MUST join that Discord by 1600 CST on the 26th or a stand-by will be activated in your place and you will be disqualified from being a volunteer during this event.
Upon entering the Discord Channel you must do some things.
Accept the Bounty Event Rules (react to the post)
Go to #pirate-cove and post your IGN
Change your nickname on that Discord server to your IGN
At this time your account credentials will be PM'd to you by me.
