Aloha,

Our management has not changed. And TBH I take personal insult that you think we would do things "out of spite" to the community, this is NOT the case. We have been doing EA access for a VERY long time now. And they have always been OPTIONAL, players can spend money and do the EA, grind for the EA or don't get involved in EA.

We have stated this from the beginning. Though I agree with some of you that I don't necessarily want the perma-camo's that go on tech tree ships, so I am in no hurry to burn my tokens. Until I have enough to jump directly to the next ship, I do know that many of us have enough FXP to jump straight to through the tech tree upon release.

People talk about how we have too much content sometimes, but we have to release content at the pace we are doing because people think they have to have EVERYTHING the day of release and this is a bit unrealistic. We cannot change how people interact with games, we may guide them, yes to try to slow you down, but people will still do what people will do.

And most of the people that did things or said things in poor judgement are gone, because we do not advocate or allow that stuff. I have seen and remember comments by management that were taken incorrectly simply because of cultural differences and what was said was not intended to be a certain way but ended up being taken as such, why do I know that, because I work with those people and have learned how to interpret what they say. And also because i have traveled the world, interacted with many different cultures and people while I was in the Navy. I'm not saying that people need to do this to understand, but perhaps taking a step back and adding some objectivity into how people respond to what is said by someone not from their own hometown or country is good?

I have been in this community for YEARS and WELL before World of Warships. I know how the community is and how it reacts to things and I know most, if not ALL the people you are talking about. And throughout my over a decade of being involved with WG titles and the community I have NEVER not ONCE thought, WG or its employees have some malicious intent. Have I disliked certain events or mechanics? Yes, but I just learned how to work with that stuff and move on. Because GAME.

Why? Because I have played so many games and interacted with so many people in the gaming industry that I've learned how they are. A LOT of our community only play World of Warships, believe it or not, for various reasons.

Some people will see evil and impropriety everywhere, no matter what. And completely ignore the good that occurs.

I see that every single day. Are mistakes made? Yes! Why? Because people are people.

Look you can trust who you like, you can build your own opinions, the key is to having an open mind. This is a game, not a way of life and if people get so wrapped up in this and that and get so angry at things because you feel you "must have it all" we cannot help that. There is a reason with almost everything we do in this game we give you options, often, play to get it, buy a discount or buy it out right. That is amazing, most video game publishers DO NOT DO THIS. And I am not saying this just as a WG employee, I am saying this as a gamer, someone that has played I don't even know how many titles from I don't even know how my publishers in all genres over the course of over 20 years.

WG has always lured me into our titles because of this, I DO NOT have to spend money I DO NOT have to hurry to get everything. And even as I write this people will respond negatively and say horrible things like we "prey" on people or we have "predatory" standards and this is just not true at all.

Just my 2 doubloons.
