It will require 1,200,000 XP. Yes, it is a new stage of growth for commanders in our game: they get more simultaneous active skills, but it requires effort to unlock them all. This is the basis of our game - progression."

You're not being "forced" to do ANYTHING. You can literally go into the WGC and go into "Settings" and then go to "Updates" and you can deselect the "Download updates in advance" box. And also go to the "Auto-Updates" tab and de-select "Automatically update installed games"
And then you can update it at your own time. This has been stated so many times over the past year.

Sorry, you're talking about the 0.10.0 micro-patch that went live this morning.
These patches are very normal for activating content or setting up for a future patch. This was not for tomorrows update.
So you don't want patches to occur at all?

Hmmm... I am trying to figure out why you had to download the entire 3GB patch.
My download this morning was only 30mb, which is what I am referring to.

And this is what I am saying, I know of the 31mb patch, don't know about it being a GB patch...

Why I was mentioning asking about this, because a lot of us in the community downloaded the patch awhile back when it started being available, which means you had a smaller patch this morning. And the patch itself was applied last night at midnight my time (2200 if you're on the west coast) to the client.
