Hey Captains,

This thread has taken a turn for the worst, I will be closing this up but before I do that, I will discuss the topic at hand.

To the OP: In a game where the teams are 12v12 there is only so much one player can do. This could be killing the enemy DDs, calling out low health targets, getting a Kraken or a myriad of other things that can be accomplished in game. My advice to you is this: Continue learning from the mistakes you make in game, this is how you become a better player. As long as you do this, you will see the results personally. Also make sure you have fun playing, choose ships that you enjoy playing.

Winrate: This is a stat that can be used to demean others, gloat or just eat some humble pie. Just because you have a high winrate does not mean there aren't things you can learn from each battle. If we were perfect we would all have a 100% winrate =). Instead of laughing at another player that has a lower winrate than you, give them some tips on how to get their winrate higher and improve. If this happens, the quality of the game as a whole goes up and becomes more competitive.

Division with some friends or clan mates. This is always something you can do to increase your winrate.

Play ships you are strong in when you start having a rough patch. This way you can have as much impact on the game as possible.

Understand that some elements of the game are out of your hands, like your teammates. Do the best with the hand you are dealt. Remember, the team you are on might be the team you are playing against next.

Statistics: These are here for you to see the progress you are making. Where you need improvement, where you do well and just an overall picture as you play the game. Most games have statistics that can be seen by other players and used in a positive or a negative way. Just because someone hides their stats does not mean they don't care about them, they just want to keep them private. This isn't to say that if they shared them other people couldn't help them improve their stats but the problem is when others try and degrade that person. You don't have to have "bad" stats to hide them.

Again, playing ships you are comfortable in will increase stats.

Playing at higher tiers can also increase stats like damage because of the power of ships at those tiers. You still have to perform well to make this happen because mistakes at higher tiers are more punishable.

If you have fewer games, stats will fluctuate wildly, so instead of worrying about them, play to get better at your mechanics.

In the end winrate and stats don't tell the whole story. They only tell part of it! Be nice to your fellow captains, give them advice on how to improve and do your best to get better!
