Hey folks, this is obviously not the appropriate Avenue of resolution for a Support issue like this. Please reopen your ticket with a response and it will be reviewed.

For now I'm afraid I need to close this.

As a further update to this topic, please see the following information:

Thanks for bringing this issue up. We reviewed our Customer Support actions thoroughly and took all additional information into account. The conclusion is that Customer Support did the right thing in restoring the clan ownership, and here’s why:

Account integrity is one of our biggest priorities while providing support to our customers. If a player has a problem and approaches us in a reasonable time, we do our best to make sure his account is not compromised. In these instances, it does not matter why it was compromised originally. We can call it “hacking”, “theft”, “accidental sharing” or even “I gave my account to a friend and now he controls it without my permission”. The truth is, if we see the account owner has no control over their account, we make our best effort to restore it and roll back any undesired changes.

In this case clan leadership was not properly transferred. Instead, the account of the clan commander was compromised (again, it does not matter how exactly), and he approached us within reasonable time to revert the changes, which we did.

Unfortunately we cannot accurately judge personal relations between the players, and no disclosure of direct messages can help that. We also do not judge whether the account was compromised because the owner agreed to give it up, or because it was hacked. What matters is that we investigated the ticket, saw that the control over account was lost, and did our best to restore it, and roll back the changes.

We understand that in such cases there might be a lot of nuances, but we also hope you guys understand that we cannot take sides in personal matters. Please do not use account sharing and conduct any organizational changes in the clan properly. If you’re using someone else’s account, please note that it can be taken away from you upon the original owner’s request, if such a request is validated.
