[2020] can you stop mixing t10 vs t8?

I'm sorry you're not enjoying being "down-tiered" in games. It is something we have had players bring up many times, in which we actually moved to make a change to recently in update 8.7. During this update and since, we have put a hard limit on how many games you can get uptiered in a 20 game period. For T8 ships this is 8 games from 20. Since this update, we've seen a significant improvement made in morale from this. Please note tho, it does take 20 games initially to calibrate this parameter for each game mode, tier and ship type.

While we do understand why this would be frustrating, the reason we continue to use and stand behind +/- 2 MM is that it breeds diversity and skill development in the game. If you're always playing even tier, it limited the skill generation of a player. By having greater diversity it allows players to develop different skills such a a support v aggressive role thus prolonging the longevity of the content.

Hopefully once you have finished calibrating your ships at each tier you will be less frustrated by a feeling of being downtiered consistently.
