Before you make statements like "this person gathers feedback" or "this is how the devs use feedback" you should maybe know how the process works?
Making blanket statements about how feedback is or is not gathered when you're not in the loop isn't particularly helpful at all.
I have been INCREDIBLY impressed with how much feedback actually players into the development of World of Warships since starting with Wargaming, we just don't directly comment on what feedback changes what process. I have never seen another game that changes things directly as often or as much as a result of the community as we do.
I have seen direct changes as result of feedback from our ST/CCs. Do these changes always hit the mark? NO, why? Because NO ONE is perfect and there is no such thing as a zero defect development process in the gaming industry.
