The entire point of every April fools event that we have ever done is to just be a meme, a joke, to poke fun... And this is what it is. Something to break up the monotony. AND beyond that, if you don't care to participate in it, you can play other tier's. This is NOT game breaking, nor is it going to break our community. And all the event's going on simultaneously DO NOT require you to play tier X battles. Furthermore, considering that the changes to the Tier X battles barely last 48 hours, they should hardly impede any progress in any events.
As for Zoup's video, I took it as far more broad, as in, be kind and RELAX in general with everyone... This is a NOT a bad rule to apply right now.
