Unfortunately you're always going to have people in game that smack talk because, well people...
My best advice is if possible block those people or if they are being especially trolling report them.
As for the clans, it is at a clans discretion to allow who they want into their clans based off whatever metric they would like. If a clan is competitive or wants to be, it would be prudent for them to want to see your stats.
That being said, there are A LOT of casual clans out there that don't care so much about that stuff, feel free to check our recruiting section of these forums!
