Following up from this discussion over the weekend.

While I can understand where your frustration comes from, it is indicated several times, in several locations regarding the nature of the missions.

We offer these missions for the regular versions when obtaining the "B" versions as a small perk for those who already have the original version of the ship. Many players who already have the standard versions of the ship probably won't be interested in the "B" versions alone as it only has the unique skin. By adding the mission on, we create additional value for those players who would be otherwise only be purchasing for the skin. This is the perk they receive for already owning the original. Where as those who didn't already owned the ship get enjoy her at a significantly reduced price.

We will definitely find ways to make it more clear next year, however it was clearly indicated in multiple locations. This was not false advertising.
