I would also love to see the replay as well. I can only imagine you were on your own away from the ship driving broadside to the planes. Few recommendations for anyone trying to deal with the new CVs:

* Probably the most important: Skip, torp and rocket you want to prioritize angle looking at the in-coming strike. Lowers chance of getting hit and if you do get hit it will be the least possible damage.

* Stay near anything with ok AA. I recommend being within 3km of cruisers as they can help you take down some planes. If the CV does not know how to dodge flak it can run out of planes. So at least for the 1st 10 minutes of the game stay very close to others.

* This is a questionable one but... Islands! For anyone playing these new cvs they know islands play a big role, and feel like they get in the way way more than the other CVs. For example the torps activation seem to be very long so if there is not enough room to make the drop sometimes. I noticed a lot of people also have not figured out how to rocket or skip bomb over islands. It is not easy. This one is a bit strange but it works.

* Last thing is if you are able to open that distance between you and the CV. Because they can only do 1 drop the longer it takes for him to get to you the less damage he will have the opportunity to get you.

Obviously most of the above are very situational and sometimes you just can`t do it but just some pointers that I hope it helps you. (I had a double Russian CV on enemy team CB yesterday where with 12 min of game they were coming with 2-3 planes and could not do any damage to us, then we parked a cruiser on the other side of the island where the 2 CVs were and nothing got passed him it was funny).
