VERY good analysis, however, one thing I would like to add, the mechanics in HOW the rewards work in the Santa Crates has NOT changed in years....

I believe 2016 was the last year you could get dupes with doubloon compensation, I am trying to dig to get a definitive answer. Unfortunately, some of our more colorful public figures will FAIL to mention this as it essentially defuses a lot of their inflammatory language.
