From what I can gather, you don't like that planes get to continue flying after the carrier is sunk and want that changed.
Am I missing something? I don't see what treating planes as ordinance would change.

Why? It's arbitrary.
Shells in the air and torpedoes in the water don't disappear when the hull is sunk. Why should airplanes in the air suddenly disappear because the hull was sunk? I see no rational, gameplay, or historical reason for this other than "I don't like it".
I see two direct requests or implications from the OP along with a few soft shots at how he feels we coddle CV's.
1. He wants planes to be reclassified as a weapon ordinance
2. He thinks planes shouldn't be active after the ship has sunk.
Why should they NOT get to use them?

I didn't say it was a targeted attack, I said let's just be careful with stuff that starts to get close to "1 v 1 me broooo".
I am all about people asking for proof, evidence, or demonstrations, but again - let's be careful about "Well do this exact thing for me in this exact way and catalogue it in this manner or I won't believe you"
El2 is an excellent player and his stats reflect that.
I disagree that AA is useless. I think he's being hyperbolic there. I suspect his point is that, if the CV player is skilled enough, AA cannot ever stop a determine attack. All it can do is be a drain on resources over time for the CV, which is hard to gauge.
El2 is also not the warmest person when making his point , so keep that in mind.
