What if cultures could diverge into new ones like how villages can rebel from their kingdom? If this happened it would make gameplay (at least for me) more interesting cause now everyone in the world doesn’t have the same culture. Basically what I’m thinking of is:

  1. A Culture Menu similar to a Kingdom Menu, showing all the culture’s villages and their chances of creating a new culture influenced by factors like “Distance from founding city” etc.
  2. Cultures could split at random and could be influenced by environments. In example, a culture originally founded in a desert area makes a village near the coast. The original desert culture will remain while the inhabitants of the coast village could make their own culture.
  3. New cultures would carry on knowledges from the previous culture.
  4. Cultural divergence is a rule you can toggle like villages rebelling

Idk just seems like a good suggestion. It’s probably more realistic than people in a small island village following the same culture as people in a huge city on the other side of the world.
