Armies could have names and an info window too.

They could be named after the Town name ( The Nadrun Army, Company of Nadrum), after the Town Leader (Yiboshi's Army, The Horde of Yiboshi, Yiboshi's Men) or by the color of the Kingdom (The Blue Army, The Green Armada). Other possibilities could be names involving Force, Militia, Armada,Regiment, Corps, Brigade, Legion, Guard or more figurative ones like Punishment, Revenge, Disaster, Shield, Wall, or adjectives like Royal, Imperial, Brutal, Lost, The Last etc. That would give a plausible randomly generated worldbox name.

I was always thinking that some randomly generated names of some kingdom in the game, i'm talking about the ones with "Spears" and "Axes" etc. but also "Holy" in their name, would also fit well for armies.

Every army could be linked to a city by a buttun appearing in the city menu when the army is organized, on the right low part of the tab, in the empty space near the culture button.

The army info tab could be basically made in the same format of the bloodlines one. The kingdom banner could appear on left instead of the bloodline one.

Various data could be also shown there, like its city, its age, its effective number of soldier vs the max number of soldier (like it is seen in city infos), its leader and the amount of time it's been in charge, its casualities and the cultures and the number of the member of those cultures serving in the army.

Similiarly to what happens the Clan Leader in the bloodlines tab, the army leader could appear at the top, and in a bigger frame, of the list all the people enlisted in the army. Clearly this list would be more long and variable than the bloodlines one, but imo It could be a plausible, smart, another way to track and find your favorite units. In this list members of bloodline are higlighted by a mini-banner of their clan on their icon.

There could be a button on the side of this army tap that shows list of every army, that can be organized by size, by the casualities, by age and maybe by total damage or total body count of its members. Obviously this list could be reached by tapping on its own button in the civilization Power bar.

Once the counter of the army member reaches the zero, the army is destroyed. This could be generate messages like "Army X has been defeated/destroyed" or "Army Y has been wiped out". Only after the destruction of an army, in its hometown, it will formed another one.

Another new button could be the one that shows/hides the name of the armies in the map. In my opinion they should have a different and more unique layout to the city/kingdoms names. The name would appear over the army, under the leader banner (if they can both be seen).

This new army system could be even more interesting if applied to the new war and plots thing.

Clicking on the insight menu of a war there could be a new side windows that can swich from the actual belligerant kingdoms list to a list of all the armies involved in the war divided by side and of their numbers. Every army in the list could have a little banner of its kingdom on its left. An army could figure out in both lists with two different flags if its city is revolted and still someway at war or when is conquered by an enemy, but in the former list it would freeze. A big cross could appear on both defeated armies and armies that change side.

I'm not sure it's a good idea at all, but i would like to propose even a third window that allows the player to see the various military leaders, but i know that when a army is defeated, basically every soldier becomes general at a certain point.

Army leaders could be able to plot like kings or city leaders do. But they couldn't be able to declare war, found and end alliances like a king does. In fact they would be able only to end wars and start a rebellion in their home town (and in a certain percentage in the near towns). In this case the town leader would stay in its position and the military leader would become the king In the war info tab, the type of war could be seen as "coup d'etat". This fact they can rebel could depend on trait the military leader have.

Clan members could have little more chance to become military leader, but not they don't monopolyze the charge.

Instead, as i have suggested before since i've seen a 17 yo boys without even a stick leading a 100+ well equiped men in battle too much, for the title of military leaders only the worthiest warrior should be selected.

Let's say, if both available 60% clan members - 40% best warrior.

I'm sorry if i didn't give you more and Better illustration for my concepts, but i've been very busta.

Awesome!

Planned to add armies as entities with names, but didn't think it through like that. Good job!
