What this means is that if your ship gets shot enough, your frame may just dissapear.

I got 2 folks that lost their ships this way in a storm wall, and my mates just destroyed a rather giant pyramid ship this way.

My own ship (frame out of Tin) went through a storm wall already since last patch, and also got shot a bit after that. The frame may literally pop at any moment. Repairing it doesnt work, and as far as i know, there is no way to even know how damaged your frame is currently.

Means, your frame may dissapear at any moment. Keep that in mind. Good luck. ;)

edit: Update as of 5 minutes ago, from the Discord again:

So we're having a late maintenance - a latenance if you will. It'll start in about 30 mins and will update the game to fix the issues with ship frames.

edit2: downtime over, stuffs fixed. See comments by Fureniku.

Honestly by the time you finish testing, it should have been fixed :)

Unless by "fixed" they mean they are making it so you can repair the frames...

Nope, just confirmed with Luke that ship frame damage is disabled unless it is a derelict. Whether that means a ship sinking into the ground or just Unregistered I don't know, I would assume the former but couldn't say either way.

EDIT: Herb just confirmed it's only ships sinking into terrain which can be salvaged now, as intended.
