73s pretty hard on getting everything in for

98s everything you whatever you're thinking
100s of I must put it in I just did some work
102s on the damage curve we've had the
112s masterful Thomas come back in the road
115s to Grace's of this presentation tom and
117s it's just okay good there's goodly
118s literary the tenacious Thomas come back
121s and he's done some some he's basically
123s what reworked the damaged system so it
125s should rather than relying on unities
127s built in physics stuff it's using some
130s Irvine sort of systems which should make
132s it more reliable when you
133s do you mean player impact image yeah
136s player impact an object impact damage so
139s you don't like cannons and boards no so
141s things like drops should be a bit more
142s consistent things like getting hit by
144s things that are flying around should be
146s a bit more consistent and so I was just
147s sort of doing some work on that curve
149s balancing it making it am probably a
151s little more forgiving than maybe the
153s first instincts that the numbers of yeah
157s what is it
159s true yes some people ask is it true that
164s dependent depending on what body part
167s you hit you get more or less damage in
171s the game at the moment that is true but
173s this reeve work doesn't have that in say
176s so it's just consistent damage is it
179s going to be blessed or more forgiving
181s it's well it's it's more predictable so
183s if I fall from a very large height I'm
185s more likely to die from that but if I'm
188s sort of just on my ship and things sort
190s of you know accidentally move all this
192s of physics bug whatever you should be
194s less likely to take damage from that I
196s mean you know the sort of the reason
200s that it feels unfeeling at the moment
201s more than anything is cuz you don't know
202s why you're getting hit like if you know
204s that if I swing at this at this speed
207s it's gonna do some damage then you can
208s plan around that but if you sort of you
210s know I don't know you climbing something
213s and you get a bit of a a force that
215s comes out of nowhere or something and
217s you just bash into someone and die then
218s that doesn't feel great and it's that
222s sort of the big thing you know so you
223s should be able to start it's not you
225s know it's not perfect and they were
227s still so you know just in my bouncing
229s it's not well I don't like everything
231s else
232s unlike everything some of the only thing
233s that isn't perfect is yeah I mean like I
238s was I was you know just just messing
239s around with doing some of the stuff you
240s know a lot of the things that people do
241s when they're landing on things is
243s they'll you know hit rag doll at the
245s right time and hit things of the right
246s angle and you know it's still kind of
247s possible to do some of that stuff so
248s it's not it's not fixed everything but
251s it is you know more predictable in
252s general and I think better yeah yeah if
256s it's more predictable it's definitely
257s better yeah yeah I've been working on
260s the tutorial stuff onboarding for new
264s players so fans of the game for a long
266s time
267s this may not apply to you unless you're
269s trying to get your friends to play with
271s you in which case you should have less
272s explaining to do about how the game
274s works yeah we're working on building out
278s the onboarding for post Haven so they
281s became the start Island we're working on
283s teaching players how to build and pilot
286s their ship now what's nice about this is
288s is sort of a dual features not only do
292s we get the onboarding and hopefully
293s allow new players to access the game
296s more easily we also are building the
299s foundation for a quest system which can
302s be used outside of the tutorial and more
304s general you know adding quests to the
307s game yeah more detail on that much later
310s when the actual system is in place but
312s just know that this is a we're not just
314s working that early or were laying the
315s foundation for something much bigger
316s yeah I think one of the things we like
318s to do when we're especially you know
320s when we're planning out feature at the
322s moment is try and think about ways that
324s those features can be put in in such a
325s way that they're sort of flexible and
327s last do something else later for Less
328s work because I think in the past we've
330s been guilty on this project of making
332s things that are a little bit too bespoke
334s and a little bit too difficult to use
336s for other things yeah that's one of the
339s big lessons we've learned
340s hmmm what else is going into what else
345s has been featuring locked all that all
347s the food stuff I was talking about is in
349s Oliver just before we recorded this
351s found an excellent bug where something
353s that's supposed to increase your sprint
355s speed by 10%
356s I actually increases it by a thousand
359s which is amazing their pleaded with me
364s to leave in the game but it just looks
373s like Dex flash found a new new way into
377s trick-trick made I mean yeah one of the
379s cool things that warframe did to be fair
381s was you know when people figured out
383s glitches with their jumping and moving
385s system and they sort of made a part of
387s the game yeah exactly instead of yanking
389s around maps you can now sort of free run
391s almost so you know we like to look at
393s things that are really cool for one
396s reason or another and find out ways of
397s implementing some element of that but I
400s don't think
401s a thousand percent spring a speed
403s increase is the is the way the wagon
406s that they were running they're running
408s so fast they were taking damage yeah it
412s was funny so one of my favorite items in
414s any video game is this is this pair of
417s boots that you find reasonably early on
418s in Morrowind basically you just just
421s after you sort of leave the first time
422s you're going on exploring if you go to
424s the right spot you just sort of you know
425s hear the screaming and there's man pulls
427s out of the sky and he just crumpled on
429s the floor in front of you like what the
431s hell happens here and he got at him and
433s you know you just loot him cuz you're a
435s cool person
436s yeah just leaves random corpses that you
439s find but if you do that you find he's
441s got some really shiny boots on called
442s the can't wonder boots of like high jump
446s or something and because that worked
447s well for him environment of storytelling
451s you see it's very good you put the boots
452s on he like man this thing will give me
454s like you know huge amount of high jumps
455s ridiculous he put them on you jump into
457s the sky and then they've got no
458s enchantment of slow falling on them so
467s except for where those boots are is they
469s came from a tree we'll never know we'll
471s never know
471s what I like to do that sees those beats
473s and then just have some slow fall
474s patients or Levitan yeah yeah you can be
477s pretty smart back yeah it's right there
479s does not confirm any of that for worlds
482s of drift know it but we are going to
483s definitely put boots of blinding speed
484s in which allow you to run a thousand
486s percent sevens blind people and blind
488s everyone in real life through the game

496s you could just increase the brightness
497s sharply destroy people's monitors oh

511s Christmas stuff for the holidays I'm

534s we got some holiday stuff coming in for
535s that including a new ship part which is
538s I guess we could probably talk about it
540s it's the it's nothing huge it's just the
543s Christmas lantern and what's exciting
545s about that is no god I said it again yes
549s the holiday lantern and what's cool
553s about that is that we're also
554s introducing a new dyeing system to
556s replace the one that's currently in
557s there we're sorry more about a new dye
559s system yeah I can I can do that I can
563s also apologize to current players who
564s just got used to the one that we are you
566s know added in 27 that was added mostly
570s to try and get this in the game as fast
571s as we could but then realized that there
573s were some problems with the way that we
574s did it to have and adapt to other things
575s which now that that's been changed
579s should allow us to do things like dye
580s ships hate our chips and paint different
584s ship parts and also horrifically ugly
589s combinations of colors whenever you want
591s but mostly pink pink pink is lovely is
594s Dinkley I don't actually know this is
596s their pink dye him again yeah it's not
601s actually pink I'm saving that for a
602s special occasion I was sort of hoping to
604s put that in balance exactly but you know
607s maybe we just slide it in there that's
610s yeah okay so the rest of the cool thing
614s about the Christmas Lantern is it's the
616s first diable white in the game and so I
618s said Christmas again whatever it's the
621s first type of light in the game and the
622s idea was for it to resemble holiday
626s lights and and now you can play some
630s around your your chip and create
633s colorful displays which is I think super
636s cool I'm excited yeah let's make a ship
638s with a nice inviting red light yeah yeah
641s oh we should make a trap
643s Santa mites yeah like moths to a flame
645s just like in real red light districts oh
648s that tractor I didn't pick up on that a
650s big deal yeah actually no tingly trying
656s to keep the stomping straight well yeah
660s no we had we did have a strip club in
662s Rosa's roof right so maybe the case you
663s had all the interior lighting in there

670s adventure but there were people who were
673s on poles in yeah it was the least erotic

685s bathed in red light need to be feather

694s them better maybe I think one thing I
697s have mentioned we were trying to do for
699s this update which we didn't manage to
701s get in which I think I should mention is
702s the Marauder instrument stuff which is
703s gone on the backlog because it got
707s pushed the next update basically cuz
708s yeah we have enough are we art assets of
712s now most of the art is now done but it
715s took until quite late in the day and we
717s needed the code support for it and I
719s think because the you know the one of
723s the new instruments is a sort of seated
724s instrument it needs a new system so it
726s more code than you know how seating
729s works how where well the house right now
732s yeah yeah I mean also obviously as as
735s you got as you guys want well know that
737s the one thing that didn't think about
739s when I planned the instrument layout was
741s that we're using the e key which is how
743s you get off things that when you're
745s sitting so just just for that one
751s exception paragraph in other words what
756s else is gonna we got we got win over
757s tying and painting and we've gone over
759s cooking cooking we have the tutorial
763s stuff going in and a whole bunch of
765s other stuff like rarity for the icons

777s game and with it the material rebalance
782s as well as the addition of three new
784s materials tell me the name of the new
785s material I was gonna pull off actually
787s even to make it sort of a surprise but
790s there are two of them have ties to names

827s time ago used to get we have a biscuit

843s quite regularly getting delicious
845s shortbread and and I know that it's
847s obviously a very common thing in this
848s country I believe Americans do you know
850s about shortbread we know what about it
852s yeah but you know it's our bread big
853s like the rest of America yeah your
856s biscuits have exited bread as well it's
857s mad it's mad anyway we what a biscuit
860s shortbread is a biscuit biscuit deliver
871s dollar gimme they're very there's
876s basically they're very sort of buttery
878s delicious flour sugar its height
885s challenge and it's yeah so there's a guy
889s in the office could ian and he sent an
891s email because we're getting so much
892s shortbread and not enough the other
893s stuff for him and he's like you look

897s good it's not that good and we're
899s getting phyllo of it and it's just not
900s worth it because we're all gonna get fat
902s and he was definitely right about that
903s yeah we need to get less shortbread
905s that's we call it shortbread cake and
907s people never let him forget the father
909s he's an enemy of shortbread hates fun
913s and so unrelated there's no shortbread
916s yeah completely unrelated but mo butter
919s so actually you know if it's a mystery
921s how the butter gets in there a butter
923s later and then lights right so it's done
926s to my butter don't it yeah you see the
928s things I did think about that and I
930s thought about the the idea of any of the
932s creatures we have in the game producing
933s milk
934s that wasn't worth that image so I'm not
937s adding milk adding butter the wheels
940s yeah maybe well because some whale milk
942s what do you mean when we have more
944s whales when we have whales in the game
946s I'm item 427 very excited I stumbled
949s over my words yeah if you guys haven't I
951s can't wait we've talked about like

969s strip clubs I really I really enjoyed
972s actually last week when when we asked
974s Alec to capture a swear word he pledged
977s herein when we mention okay so less a
985s thing that broadly covers that still of
988s the key points that we've got locked in
989s for 29 doesn't it oh wait so sorry about
993s the overheat it sort of skipped over
994s that with that engine there but yeah
996s just a little bit
997s somehow shortbread so overheat is going
999s into the game with that comes the visual
1001s effects for that are appropriate for the
1003s actual system as well as a new it's a
1008s stat I suppose that it's going to show
1010s up on your schematics for engines and
1013s cannons and swivel guns which of the
1015s three things that can overheat it's
1016s called the cooling factor it's not a bar
1018s it's not represented as a bar like the
1020s rest of the stats that you might see
1022s it's represented right underneath the
1023s weight as a number that goes between 0
1027s to 100 currently with the materials that
1030s we have in the game right now it's
1031s impossible to get a hundred so for those
1033s of you who really want a hundred but
1034s can't seem to get it don't fret that's
1036s how we designed the game and what that
1040s does is it it should show you how the
1046s connectivity of your engine is allowing
1050s it to cool and how efficiently it does
1053s cool and how quickly it cools yeah it's
1055s a based on stats that are already in the
1058s game so nothing is is you know
1060s specifically changing based on the
1062s materials that are you know that's that
1065s the thing does already exists it's just
1066s a map representing that in a way that
1068s is understand of what someone who's
1069s actually building an engine because
1070s right you wanted things we wanted to
1072s avoid was having two engines that based
1074s on the stats that were visible looked
1076s exactly the same but one of which was
1077s wildly better at cooling right what I'm
1079s hoping is that maybe we could have
1080s another podcast or stream or something
1082s dedicated to me explaining the system
1085s because it's it's a little complicated I
1087s love tuition or I could write a tech
1089s Tuesday whatever it is when it when it
1091s goes live well we can do both I think
1099s when it goes live on pts and people are
1101s testing yeah yeah yeah we can stream and
1104s have fun with it and experiment with
1105s that sounds great yeah without an atlas
1108s core it's gonna be hard and yeah tech
1113s Tuesdays are always welcome yeah okay
1115s very welcome I've got a 16 page document
1119s outlining all of it so we can just throw
1121s that in there and let players read it
1123s sure great joke yeah yeah that's it's
1127s that's a lot of we have some more stuff

1129s going in but that's probably enough for

1137s details so we've been doing a thing with
1147s the roadmap and the thing is we're
1149s adding more details to some of the stuff
1151s mentioned on the roadmap some of the
1153s more no not more exciting some of the
1158s things that we can actually find words
1160s to describe such as new features or big
1163s new changes or anything that has visual
1167s cues or will actively affect your you
1171s know and change your gameplay style
1173s we're adding more details to that
1175s because a lot of the people say why are
1179s you sniffing it's fine
1183s some Alford's actually nochmal for it
1187s actually you monster yes looks the same
1193s might have been helping me compile lots
1197s of
1198s documents design documents and I've been
1200s bullying the art MOOC to Lucas i sat
1204s down with Luke and we went through all
1207s the history of the stuff that I was
1210s asking him about what it was like Regas
1212s grieves and how that came about and now
1215s it's it's going I'm slowly updating the
1218s roadmap and you will now see it'll read
1221s more buttons appearing on most of the
1225s road map it's very exciting
1226s it is very exciting and that will let
1228s you read more if you click those buttons
1231s that's true it's sort of
1233s self-explanatory I just wanted to get it
1234s out there just you know make it very
1237s clear yeah I suppose I see what we're
1239s doing with the read more buttons nice
1242s full circle yeah and you guys can see
1246s some earlier iterations of some concept
1249s arts including things like because we're
1251s rebalancing of redoing whether walls you
1254s can see how they started and how they
1256s were initially designed and thought
1257s through so that's fun yeah but yeah more
1262s deeps more deeds that we're moving on to
1266s the community question question right
1272s community be asking Finn says from the
1276s blog yeah where's the button that lets
1278s you skip the tutorial mal for okay so
1282s the bun yes you've probably heard me
1285s talking if you're a regular listener to
1287s the podcast about how we're gonna let
1289s people who've already completed the
1290s tutorial skip the tutorial and obviously
1293s then the update comes out and there's no
1294s skip button it was it was it was sort of
1298s that or delay the launch really because
1299s there were so many sort of weird
1300s educators and things with the way that
1302s we were tracking whether or not people
1304s should be given that tutorial thing and
1306s also the actual skipping of the steps
1308s was completely broken so you know it's
1310s not it's not impossible to do it just
1312s didn't make it in for the actual launch
1314s of the feature but we are working on
1315s putting it back in you know it's it's
1319s you know it obviously it's annoying if
1321s you're making lots of new characters and
1323s you have to keep going through the thing
1324s again I mean I think it's also important
1327s that you know I've been guilty in the
1329s past in when I'm playing games that have
1331s you know quite a complex systems and a
1334s tutorial being a donut okay and then not
1337s name I'm doing and then stopping playing
1339s the game so you know I think I think
1342s we're probably gonna make it so the
1344s people who are just starting the game
1345s for the first time just go into it and
1347s it's not you know it's not a
1350s ridiculously long tutorial but what it
1352s does do is it makes the first play
1354s experience for new players a lot
1356s smoother you know we've done a lot of
1358s play tests and and just dropping people
1360s into islands like we used to the rate of
1362s people giving up his is so high because
1365s you know you just get dropped into this
1367s island and because we don't have control
1368s over what those islands are people don't
1371s know how to do anything and we can't
1374s sort of you know show them very easily
1376s because we have no idea what the island
1377s that they're on is going to be like so
1378s that's the big thing that's the reason
1379s why havens in and that's why it's not
1381s optional at least for new players but I
1383s think you know we want to make it so
1385s that if you're making lots of new
1386s characters or one thing or another you
1390s don't have to repeatedly do Haven I mean
1392s you know it doesn't take that long
1393s though I can do all those in five
1395s minutes yeah well I do sort of spawn
1398s with so potentially you like if if you
1401s spawn with two or three other people
1403s you're out of metal you need to run
1406s around get to the difficult parts oh
1409s yeah but if you're an experienced play
1410s you can go into the island yes well
1413s within the experienced players ideally
1415s the ones that are trying to skip ya
1416s tutorial yeah it yeah it doesn't take
1419s that long but it is something that we
1421s want you guys to be able to skip it's
1423s something that was actually taken off
1424s the table for this next update but I'm
1427s still trying to get him in um and the
1430s reason was taken off the table is
1432s because we're trying to fix other things
1433s with the tutorial at the moment yeah
1435s it's like because we're we were changing
1437s the way there the tutorial prompts etc
1439s work if we were to have done it before
1440s now we'd have to redo it anyway so right
1443s it's the way it's not that we don't
1444s think it's important it's just that it's
1446s not as important as having the system
1447s work correctly anyway yeah yeah and you
1450s know we need to redo it if we did it
1452s beforehand so yeah that means yes if it
1454s needs to be laid down the line oh well

1487s the reason that there's no schematic for
1490s the Regas graves is because it's you
1493s spelled it wrong we didn't fix it we did
1499s it's coming for this next this nice

1503s have a the boots themselves rarely drop
1505s or is that they're just not in the game
1507s the boots themselves are appropriately
1509s rare yet the schematic for it doesn't
1511s drop because we accidentally spelled it
1513s wrong in the loot table so me guess that
1514s yeah we used an old name for it in me
1516s yeah we did yeah yeah sorry about that
1518s guys but that head should be in the game
1520s and it's coming very soon and thanks for
1523s the love dude we love hearing the dude
1525s that you like the game as for new
1527s in-game weapons or in-game items such as
1529s weapons there's gonna be a bunch of new
1531s in-game stuff coming for this this next
1533s patch none of it is weapons but that is
1537s soon we're discussing doing a sort of
1540s combat update where we're gonna add a
1542s whole bunch of violence and it's a it
1552s will include weapons so keep your ears
1555s peeled is a blackjack your eat ears and
1559s eyes peeled and what a blackjack would
1561s do is it'll ragdoll plays we went home
1565s ooh
1566s that actually sounds pretty cool sounds
1569s incredibly annoying game design I should
1572s try it
1573s plus the 1000 sprint speed and someone
1575s Sprint's past you like a baseball yeah
1578s then you have to hit them with your
1578s blackjack and ragdoll them into the
1580s stadium cricket if we have rounders back
1592s around us back then it converts whatever
1594s motion that they have into the direction
1596s yeah yeah
1597s yeah ragdoll then you could round us
1600s back and then they golf into the
1601s bleachers this is how our design happens

1610s it just spills forth a real problem

1621s considered it would be great a great qol
1625s mechanic and could encourage more
1628s organic and spread and grouping and
1629s crewing if that danger of losing your
1632s stuff to a crew member is mitigated we
1636s all know how attached folks get to their
1638s internet stuff is interesting here
1640s because I guess at the moment you know
1641s whoever's crude on your ship has access
1643s to all your stuff so the idea being that
1645s if you put your sort of nearest and
1647s dearest stuff in like a special lockbox
1650s with a personal look then you could be
1653s feel happier about inviting people to
1654s occur and not have to worry about them
1655s just seeing your stuff and leaving yeah
1658s that sounds like a cool idea I think it
1661s goes against at least herb and Luke's
1663s idea of what the game is supposed to be
1665s which is this like constantly on edge
1668s who do I trust
1670s experience of like I know it's a not
1675s necessarily because it is something
1677s that's like if you aren't sure who to
1680s trust then you could still have this I
1681s mean if you had like one padlock for
1683s example yeah like some one container
1685s conceptually I don't mind it but I would
1687s it's gonna come down to like the
1689s holistic idea of what is worlds and how
1692s do we want people to play it in that
1694s regard it's a conversation very good you

1737s how do you build the walls when you make
1741s a new world do you just have a square
1743s over you and draw lines or do you do it
1746s manually in 3d piece by piece
1748s how does it work Miele Ford well I
1750s answered this on YouTube as well but I
1752s will answer again here for the folks at
1753s home who are not too shy rose so
1757s basically there's the tool that we have
1759s is it's a big square and I place down
1763s the these markers which dictate the
1766s different biomes and those are used to
1768s calculate Voronoi cells which are
1770s basically just automatically generated
1772s walls and then I encode those points
1775s with the data of what biome type and
1778s what cultures out they are and that is
1781s used to decide what kind of wall type
1784s they are around there and then I I can
1786s place islands down from our database
1789s onto that and adjust the height of them
1792s as well so I have you no control over
1793s the sort of longitude and latitude as
1795s well as the height of all the islands
1797s but I don't have direct control over the
1800s walls and I don't have direct control
1801s over the shape of things I just sort of
1803s have to move those cells around that
1805s works which means if I want to for
1806s example take one by them and make it
1808s bigger than the others for one reason or
1810s another I have to do that by moving we
1812s have the biomes in the map away from it
1814s so it's a little fiddly a little awkward
1817s but it's what we've got and you know we
1820s want to update it to make it a little
1824s bit more intuitive and do some
1825s hand-drawn stuffs we can have some
1826s things aren't straight lines but at the
1829s moment we can't say we will at some
1831s point I've been talking about that for
1833s and how long have I been on this project
1835s now I think I'll be doing the map for
1838s three years three years

1844s another question about walls and things
1847s and barriers squall asks would it be
1852s possible to create a pocket of space

1864s I asked him when I first got yeah I was
1866s like hey what if we did this he was like
1868s hey yeah that'd be cool no we've done
1874s some experiments with hand-drawn maps we
1876s have like a quite a sort of it was a bit
1878s of a technical a bit hard to use system
1880s that just sort of generated the visual
1882s patterns so it didn't work as actual
1885s biome indicator so it would need more
1886s work for that and to be honest it was so
1889s long and difficult it wouldn't be viable
1891s for a proper map but as soon as we had
1893s that as a system I was able to make
1895s these sort of pocket plans and so to be
1896s honest they're like that the way that we
1898s want to do the whole layout is to have
1900s you know and we have a biome called the
1902s expanse but it's no more expansive than
1903s any others the idea is that the majority
1906s of the map is expanse and there's not a
1908s huge amount of walls or barriers there
1910s and then you have these pockets of other
1912s Buyten type so remnants would be a small
1914s biome that's in there and then so you
1915s have these sort of little pocket ones
1917s but then we can do interesting stuff
1918s with weather patterns with that as well
1919s that's the idea we just can't do it yet
1922s it just breaks that's not it's not means
1927s not broken it's just not made yet that
1929s way it can't that was a reference to the
1932s make the map bigger yeah no no the size
1935s it is I mean to be honest like if it was
1937s less because of the and pandrol maps
1940s it's possible at the same sort of time
1941s we'd be able to do a bit bigger maybe
1942s maybe we'll see because it'd be less
1945s islands maybe the creature stuff would
1947s be another point cool
1948s maybe neon asks neon serious neon what
1956s happens to your stuff ship inventory
1957s everything when you delete a character
1959s if the ship is logged out does it stay
1961s disappeared forever or does the Reviver
1963s get cleared in the ship and the ship
1966s spawns owned by no one this your now
1969s non-existent character drop a bag or
1972s whatever your was in your inventory and
1975s belt when you delete it I have so many
1977s questions

1989s so I think actually we're investigating
1992s a bug right now where the ships do not
1993s disappear as they should but the
1994s intended behavior is that when you
1996s delete
1997s a character all of your inventory and
1999s your ship and everything is just removed
2001s from the service yeah I mean obviously
2002s if somebody who hasn't deleted their
2004s character is still playing the game then
2006s it will stay there it's only when the
2008s last person is deletes their character
2010s should happen so say there's two people
2013s and from one of them deletes it
2014s obviously dying so character then the
2016s ships would still be there because the
2017s other characters still there you inherit
2019s if they both Anita character I think
2021s that's only the case if they're
2022s registered to a Reviver on that ship
2024s yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah so that that's
2028s what the the people are supposed to do
2030s right now I think it's a little bit
2031s different the the character does not
2033s drop a bag the inventory is just to look
2035s at setting it down yeah all right thanks

2084s something like a storm wall but scaled
2086s down and roving lightning areas similar
2088s how to rain spawns in particular spots I
2092s feel like the weather is a huge
2094s environmental aspect that could make
2096s even the dullest moments of the game
2097s very exciting yes I think the other two
2101s on the roadmap biomes that we have
2103s coming up for the next one would be the
2104s Arctic biome which will probably have
2106s some sort of blizzards and the one after
2108s that the jungle biome and the sort of
2111s very early designs we have for that
2113s involve sort of quite a lot more player
2117s versus environment stuff so you know the
2119s the sort of I don't know if this is
2120s where it's going to end up being but
2122s this is the the plan that I write out
2124s for it like a year ago was that it would
2127s have a lot of these a lot of poisonous
2129s clouds like noxious stuff in it so there
2131s will be you know
2133s waise island craters could make things
2136s that create Julia's laughing I know
2142s there would be poisonous gases and
2145s potentially also some interesting things
2146s like some some different kinds of
2149s insects that could bite you if you
2151s walked through them and something that
2152s they wouldn't be they would be sort of
2156s well the idea is that it's like you know
2158s you can get the fireflies which is sort
2159s of law particles to go around so instead
2161s of creating a new creature with
2163s behaviors is this cloud of insects that
2165s exists on these islands and they would
2167s you know maybe bite you or or do some
2169s other interesting things maybe some
2171s bouncy mushrooms because I love bouncy
2173s mushrooms I mean weird chock full of
2176s ideas for different how many ideas
2178s yeah and none of that is confirmed
2180s because it's all just written down the
2181s Google Doc that sounds cool doesn't it
2185s yeah but yeah like also like storms in
2188s general I think roving storms is
2189s something that we would like to do
2191s anyway and so potentially we'll have
2194s something along those lines in maybe
2199s even in an existing biome at some point
2201s but yeah we need to do more with their
2203s weather patterns as be as and when we
2205s can sort of expand that system okay cool
