Honestly, I loved Worlds Adrift. This was an amazing game. Though, I never played it too often, when I did, I had alot of fun. I wish there was some way we could reverse this getting cancelled. Some way to save it.

External link →The servers may be shutting down, and as such we won't be able to play on the main game, BUT... I think the Island Creator might still function after the shutdown. It ain't much, but if the Island Creator community can survive at least for a short time then anything might be possible...

Ooh, hey! Question though - does the IC also contain proprietary stuff, or would it be possible to open-source it rather than the main game? It's still pretty nice that we can keep the IC, but I'm just holdin' out hope for something more... =P
I've been told that the island creator will remain online but we wont be open sourcing it.
If there are any specific parts you'd like saved (e.g. models, soundtrack) let us know and we'll see what we can do but the actual game is impossible as it has too much third party software (e.g. the voice chat, the multiplayer engine, the server infrastructure)
