| 10s | where you will start your worlds drift |
| 11s | journey starting inside of a crashed |
| 14s | airship your first task will be to |
| 16s | escape the crash site using the |
| 18s | on-screen tooltips to learn how to |
| 19s | grapple once outside you will be tasked |
| 23s | with gathering enough metal to craft |
| 25s | your scanner to look for rocks with |
| 27s | cracks on them these are metal nodes and |
| 30s | can be harvested the trick to harvesting |
| 33s | metal is to try to avoid over salvaging |
| 35s | the middle of the nord doing so can |
| 37s | cause it to explode and all of the |
| 39s | precious metal nuggets to fly everywhere |
| 41s | whilst this is fine on flat land where |
| 44s | the nuggets will land safely doing this |
| 46s | too close to the edge of an island or on |
| 48s | a slope can result in the loss of the |
| 50s | metal so precision is often key to |
| 53s | successful mining if some of the metal |
| 56s | nodes have recently been harvested you |
| 58s | may need to head underneath the island |
| 60s | using your grappling hook this can be |
| 62s | risky but is a great way to improve your |
| 64s | grappling skills just be careful not to |
| 66s | let go harvesting underneath an island |
| 69s | is where the aforementioned precision |
| 70s | harvesting is the most important as if |
| 73s | you're accidentally over farming the |
| 74s | Lord all of that precious metal will |
| 76s | fall into the abyss so take your time |
| 78s | and carefully and you'll be fine once |
| 82s | you have enough metal the next step is |
| 84s | to craft your scanner tool to do this |
| 87s | press tap to bring up your inventory and |
| 89s | under utility on the crafting tab select |
| 92s | the scanner tool drag the metal that |
| 94s | you've farmed from your inventory into |
| 96s | the casing and internal slots and click |
| 98s | craft once the item is finished crafting |
| 101s | it will appear in your inventory you can |
| 103s | use one of two Weir's to equip it either |
| 106s | navigate to your character tab in your |
| 107s | inventory and drag the icon for the |
| 109s | scanner from your adventure to the |
| 111s | scanner slot on the left or |
| 113s | alternatively right-click the icon for |
| 115s | the scanner in your inventory and then |
| 117s | hit equip once the scanner is equipped |
| 119s | it will appear in your hotbar in the |
| 121s | number-four slot which is the key that |
| 123s | you will need to press to access it from |
| 125s | here on out your next task is |
| 127s | gather enough knowledge to unlock the |
| 129s | Reviver network to gather knowledge you |

| 157s | and on some islands they may be very |

| 162s | knowledge as possible once you have |
| 164s | enough knowledge to unlock the Reviver |
| 165s | Network follow the on-screen prompts to |
| 168s | advance once this is unlocked you'll be |
| 180s | able to access the revival chamber on |
| 181s | the island which will have been |
| 183s | inaccessible up until this point this |
| 186s | will allow you to leave Haven and start |
| 187s | your adventure proper you can leave solo |
| 190s | or with friends once you leave Haven |
