How family system is different from clan system?
Clans are for "royalty". And used to determine heirs.
Units within a clan will have their own families.
For instance, Edgar of Reddit Clan might have a wife who doesn't belong to any clan.
However, their child, Dude, will belong to a clan, as Dude is of royal blood from Reddit Clan through his father's bloodline.
Families are for everyone. Even animals. Pack of wolves - can be family too.
I say 3, bc of the Golems subspecies, crying Onions and biome, and Lemons bc they have scarves. Along with the subspecies stuff.

I want cultural divergence to be a thing. Let cities in different biomes/regions develop their own culture after a few centuries. It gets boring having the oldest cultures overpowering any new oens you want to spawn in

One key issue is the definition of "sentient species", as someone asked in the replies on X... Is it gonna be three new races just like humans elves orcs and dwarves with the ability to build their own civilizations, or is it something different? I talked with a few friends and they're a bit skeptical as to whether this actually means we're getting new races... Guess we'll never find out until the new update is released or Maxim replies on X

Me too, I want an Industrial Revolution and religion update, but it looks like instead of adding depth to the game we’re getting 8 new basic biomes that no one will really use and will be annoying for anyone generating a new world that they want to be normal. I’d rather they add biome specific building styles and maybe aliens as a full race rather than adding new biomes.
Biomes are just tip of the iceberg. Wait for more sneak peeks I guess
