Known issue starting with the 12th-gen.

I have been posting this for a while now when people bring up ♥♥♥♥♥♥ performance and mention that they are on a newer Intel CPU.

For those of you with the fancy Intel 12th-gen and newer CPU's, this can help to prevent Windows from putting the game on the worthless half of your CPU cores.
Take control of your Intel CPU's P-Cores and E-Cores with CoreDirector software[http//Take+control+of+your+Intel+CPU%27s+P-Cores+and+E-Cores+with+CoreDirector+software]
It can probably fix your crappy performance, but not guaranteed if you didn't bother to clean the bloatware up on your system or follow ⁠Excluding the Client from Security Software.

Do note that this will likely require some more advanced tweaking of settings in your BIOS, or updating your BIOS. Welcome to the joys of owning a computer. Especially when the manufacturer of your chipset cares more about metrics than the end users.
