Its on highest so probably that mixed with the larger towns/cities mod. Kinda crazy still though, you would imagine 16 cores/32 threads it would be alot faster. Looking at the task manager its not responding half the time while its generating that preview for some reason so that probably explains partly why its taking so long, i guess i wont make the mistake of setting that map preview to the highest setting again. Still doesnt make much sense though why its taking so long to generate that preview when all the actual terrain/poi generation has been done for ages. Gotta love Unity...
It really isn't a matter of how many CPU cores you have. Generation is largely using the GPU.
