Private profile shows level 0 regardless of the level of the account. He could be level 0 or 100, or 250, or whatever, it'll still show as 0 because his profile is private.

This. Consider fiddling with the settings... Or maybe games with adversity that can actually pose a threat aren't for OP, which is fine too.
