It is a map where the player has to choose between three pre-made fortresses.

Fortress one: Old Mountain Village
A once very solid fortress of the last surviving lumberjacks, built in the snow biome. It is located right on the side of a mountain and is therefore easy to defend, since no zombies can come from the top. The wall needs some basic repairs, but certainly nothing that an experienced player can't manage.
The disadvantage is that there is a lumberjack town not far away, from where the frost zombies attack the fortress night after night. (If anyone lives there) And there are very few animals and plants to eat.

Fortress Two: King of the Hills
An old knight's fortress located in the grasslands on a hill. Even before the outbreak it was ... let's say dilapidated. A place with a patchy wall, but instead a castle garden, some defensive towers and prefabricated spikes in front of the wall. All need a little repair though. Otherwise, it is a very animal and plant populated area, where at least the basic needs of food and drink can be easily satisfied. Within the castle itself, some weapons and survival materials can be found for the resourceful player who is not afraid of a challenge.
Downside here is, the fortress can be attacked from all sides by zombies, making defense a bit more difficult. However, since the grasslands are the most central next to the rubble biome, it's also not surprising that it's swarming with all sorts of zombies pretty quickly.

Fortress Three: The Cave Mine
A mine set in the desert is a safe haven, but it has more than one entrance. Back in the day, the old miners made this place an obstacle course for zombies with the help of now-improvable traps and pits. Their undoing, however, was that they didn't have any water nearby, nor did they know anything about farming or hunting. So in the end they all starved/thirsted. But it doesn't change the fact that this place can become very livable with a little work.
The disadvantage is, as mentioned above, that the place offers relatively little water and hunting opportunities. In addition, many desert zombies come here at night to hunt anyone who dares to settle in the old mines. And be careful, because the zombies can also dig into the mine.

Note: Each fortress has the basic crafting stations (workbench, smelter, chemical table) and some resources that make it easier to survive in that particular biome. (Clothing, drinks, food, basic weapons and tools) Additionally, there is a bucket in the Cave Mine for scooping water.

The real difficulty:
That's all well and good, you're probably thinking now. But where is the difficulty? I'm glad you asked. The difficulty is that every night the zombies storm the fortress. And in normal hordes. And on the seventh night comes the mega horde. A zombie horde of more than five hundred zombies from all kinds of biomes.
What's the difference between that and the normal hordes? Well, simply put, the normal hordes are made up of regional zombies. That means the zombies of the biome whose fortress you occupy. Of course, there can be other zombies in between, but in general it is mostly only the certain type of zombies that awaits you.
What is to be done? Survive, sure. But there's more to do. Improve defenses, upgrade weapons, the usual stuff. But also take precautions for night seven. For example, to prevent certain types of zombies from coming en masse, there are three zombieological danger points to eliminate:

Danger Point One: The Lumberjack Town.
A town from before the outbreak with many log cabins. This town is sort of the starting point for the snow zombies. From here they set out in droves to haunt the living. The heart of this town is the old meeting center, where many of these undead spend their days. Smoke this out and not only will fewer snow zombies come on the seventh night, you'll also get all sorts of blueprints like those for the chainsaw, the shotgun, and other tools and weapons.

Danger point two: The power plant
The old power plant is already partially destroyed and the radiation has changed the zombies. Made them more dangerous. The task is to eliminate these zombies that populate the reactor and use it as their base and breeding ground, and make the world a little safer from the nuclear radiation. At the same time, the number of the infested that accompany the horde on the seventh night is also reduced. There are also some blueprints again, such as for the generator, the traps, the alarm system and other electronic components. After all, who knows what will happen to those bitten by the irradiated zombies? (Small hint: The time until zombie transformation is halved.) But be careful, the closer you get to the plague, the more mutated the undead are.

Danger point three: The research center (aka hospital of all Umb.)
The source of the plague. The core of the undead. The lair of evil. This place has many names. And just as many secrets. On the surface, it looks like a university hospital with many individual hospital centers, such as the heart center, the center for internal medicine, tumor center, children's hospital, etc...., but underneath the hospital the real horror begins. The research center of the Umb., where biological war weapons were developed, is built like a honeycomb. And one of these weapons was the zombie virus. Unfortunately, it was incomplete, as it was supposed to be used to restore fallen comrades to new life while retaining their memories. Unfortunately, an "accident" caused an outbreak of the virus, as a result of which the scientists and hired guards were all turned. However, there is an antidote in the depths of the lab. This is also airborne and can kill the undead. However, it is located in the security cabinet on the lowest floor of the research center. There are also several blueprints for medicines, alternative chemicals, chemical-based weapons, and a blueprint for a water filter that eliminates the need to boil water or clean it with charcoal. It also reduces the total number of zombies on the seventh night.

The mega horde consists of:

More than 250 normal zombies
100 infested
100 Snow zombies
50 Burned
50 dogs
50 vacationers/policemen

(Always note that this is a circa figure and does not have to correspond to the actual values).
