Me too. Past the early game at least, I don’t want to do stuff solely to rack up XP. Thanks to gamestage, that just means tougher zombies. XP is more like the cost of doing business, so I want to make sure I’m doing something worthwhile for that XP.

Well... it’s always an option, since you don’t have to keep everything in your backpack. You can consolidate loot in containers (existing or player-made) until you finish the quest and can leave.
