[2023] Dawn of ragnarock can’t climb anymore after a few hours playing

Been playing for a just a few hours. Hitting the first raid and I can’t climb anymore. Had to turn into a raven to get out of the river. I went to a lookout point to test and I can climb the rock. He just stands in front of the rock. Tried to save , restart ps5, went back in and loaded and the same thing happens. Sometimes if I hit L2 or tap it in addition to R2 and x he might climb a little and then just stop. Any suggestions?
