Sorry to hear you are encountering a ownership issue. For this I would advise to ensure that you are logged into your linked account in Ubisoft Connect. You can check your linked account using the Ubisoft Account website [account.ubisoft.com]

Once you are logged into your linked account, if you then try to launch the game from Steam it should automatically link.
