[2021] Purchased game through Epic Store and game has downloaded twice

So I apperently made a grave mistake by buying assassin's creed valhalla from the epic store because right now my game is 125GBs big because after downloading it on the EPIC store the Ubisoft store downloaded it again at 85 GBs!? Like seriously what the hell is going on? If I had known about this mess I wouldn't have bought the game, and now it's too late for a refund. and I have read previous posts about this issue dating back to early 2019, how is this not resolved yet?

@zapdos7 I'm sorry to hear that the game has downloaded twice, I am unsure why this has occurred.

I would recommend uninstalling the games installation files, preferably the Epic version. If you encounter any further issues after this, please let us know.
