I'm playing Valhalla and have just completed my Pledge to Lincolnshire. I voted for Herefrith as leader and now find that this was not the wisest thing to do.
Unable to find out more info about the Order member the Crozier I looked it up and it appears that this is an ongoing bug. If you pick Herefrith as leader you then later get a message via Randvi about his real identity being discovered and the Shower of Swords quest then begins. This is apparently supposed to happen once you have completed your Jorvik pledge.
However, it seems many many people have completed Jorvik before Lincolnshire and therefore the Randvi message does not trigger, you don't get the Shower of Swords quest and therefore can't find and kill Herefrith, eliminating him from the order.
Looking through previous comments Ubisoft seem to suggest that this issue was fixed in an update and the matter was closed. But I can tell you now, my game is up to date and the issue is still occurring. This seems to have been a problem for around two years now and it's a game breaking one.
Ubisoft, why is this still an issue? Why hasn't it been resolved properly? Surely your team can not still be looking at the problem. Before you ask please note the following.
1) I am playing on Xbox (latest one)
2) I am not in a position to provide you with images or videos of game saves, quest logs etc.
3) My game is up to date.
4) I have put over 170 hrs into this game and I'm not best pleased that this bug, which has been known about for almost two years, still exists.
Please provide and answer forthwith.
