[2022] Downloaded Valhalla via Epicgames - Ubisoft wants to install 125gb update

I just bought and installed Assassins Creed Valhalla via Epicgames. There is a 139gb folder in Epicgames. In Ubisoft, I locate the files and they are validated successfully. Yet I am told I must update and download another 125gb. What is going on? Why is Ubisoft downloading 125gb when I already downloaded 139gb via Epic?

@mace7880 Hi there! I am sorry to hear that Epic and Ubisoft Connect are both attempting to download Valhalla. Please try >>

  • Installing the game directly on the Ubisoft Connect launcher instead, after linking your Epic account to your Ubisoft account
  • Check Epics download path defaults to this location and has not been changed C:\Program Files\Epic Games\[Game name]
  • In Ubisoft Connect, relocate the path to the original installation by using this tool in the launcher.
