Lately three issues (even more lets be honest i just focus on the one it seems gave more problem to the customers) occurred to the game.
These issues, in my opinion, brought to light how Ubisoft customer support is really below standard compared to other companies.
And, to be clear, I am not just talking about the guys replying (copying and pasting formatted replies to be honest) to us in this forum, but dev/managing/marketing/...
The issue i am talking about are:

Let's focus on the ownership of the issue:

  • A brewing storm: AC Valhalla source code, Ubisoft ownership
  • The forge and the Flame: AC Valhalla source code, Ubisoft ownership
  • Blank screen on startup: Nvidia driver issue, Nvidia ownership

And now let's look at the status of the issues:


Nvidia is not know for being the keanu reeves (loved by everyone) of IT companies, but it fixed the problem in one day.
How this compares with ubisoft customer support? Do we really deserve this kind of treatment when we pay games now for up to 100$?

And before this post disappear like many other (yes this is another example of quality customer support) THIS IS NOT A BREWING STORM TOPIC.

Hello Thamhuz, thank you for your post.

I am sorry to see you are disappointed that you may have experienced certain bugs within Valhalla during your playthrough. As well as a 'Known Issue's' list of bugs and updates that address them available in our News and Announcements and Player Support section, we also have the 'Reported Issues' list that catalogs any issues brought to our attention from forum players.

This forum and game was the first to trial this out and has seen much success and interaction from players when reporting various issues they encountered with the game. I apologize if some particular issues are taking longer to fix than others.

If you need any help with any one particular issue listed, please reach out to us in one of those threads we call 'megathreads' so we can investigate further and gather info when needed.

If you made this thread as a way to pass on feedback to us, you are also welcome to suggest ways in which you think we can improve our communication and anything we can do better.
For the time being, I will move this thread to our General Discussion area, as it appears to be a feedback on Ubisoft Support as a whole and forum communication.
