I can confirm that this issue has been reported and is being investigated by the development team.
If you encounter this issue and are unable to collect key items then please go into your skill tree and reset the 'Light-Fingered' skill and try again.

I'd like to reach out to you all with an update. The development team have confirmed that this issue wherein the Light-Fingered skill prevented key items from being picked up should be resolved with the release of Title Update 1.7.0 which will be deployed today at 12 pm UTC/GMT, 1 pm CET, 7 am EDT, 4 am PDT, and 11 pm AEST.
