[2022] [SoP] Unable to steal key in the quest 'The Count of Paris'

I'm at the point where I need to steal the key from this guy upstairs to get to count Odo the first mission in general with him or else I can't unlock the door to get to count Odo or the next part. When I use the Odin's sight it shows me the guy I need to take it from and even shows hold square to steal but once it's done holding square nothing happens and he still has the key. Is there a glitch or something ? I just bought this add one today and let everything load before i started the game so far things have been okay while my horse randomly won't run fast but the auto suggests it is? Game is glitchy in general spoiler
