I know this is a known issue from... 2020.
But exactly the same as described in the last topic happened to me.

Context: I bought ACV with season pass and DL it without problems, then no time to play -> delete (December 2021).
Last week (04.2022) : Re-installed ACV from a local backup on my PC/first boot disc. -> Auto DL Ragnaroek DLC

1rst issue: Game crash on start screen, as soon as you press any button

Solution found on internet / other forums as the ubi forums = Delete all the DLC folders + Verify files -> +53GO new update to download... then I could access for the first time to the menus (new game, Options, Discovery tour, etc.)

2nd issue: Game crash after choosing the 3 level of difficulties.
I used again "Verify Files" -> +8GO new update to download....
Then again = the game crash after the choose the 3 level of difficulty

Since the first installation, I've been waiting for ONE full week to try to play to this game and the Ubi servers are so slow..

It seems there are issues, especially since the implementation of the new Ragnaroek DLC.

Please let me out of this no fun Parkour.

Hey @jerusalem_sav. I'm sorry you are unable to Play ACV and the Discovery Tour. Have you tried a clean reinstall since redownloading the game? If not, please try reinstalling directly from the Ubisoft Connect launcher. I would also recommend trying all of the steps listed here as they have been known to prevent crashing. If you are still unable to play after doing those steps, please generate your MSINFO and Dxdiag files and start a support case on our website or you could send us a Twitter or Facebook DM.
