I and some other players have noticed that daily contracts can vary from the region or country we connect from, here an example :

( Note : as "The Thieves Couple" is, at the moment, a reccurent contract : I will "highlight it" )

Thursday, May 11th 2022 (Daily item = Boots : Modern Day Pants)

My main question is :
why taking the risk to add more bugs to the existing ones by using different server request at the same time = 02:00 PM UTC ?
Other question :
are there any other content that is region/county dependant ? and why ?

Hello there @azullFR!

Thanks for creating a new thread for this, and for tagging me! I've been able to reach out to our dedicated teams regarding the online servers and the different daily contracts, and they've been able to provide me with some more information about this.

The dedicated teams have confirmed that it's normal that the daily quest differs sometimes between players, and that this is nothing to worry about. All players should have the opportunity to complete two daily quests and one weekly quest, and to earn the same amount of Opals, no matter the quest that's provided by Reda and the Thousand Eyes.

This being said, we are aware of the ongoing issue wherein Reda has only one Daily Quest available every third day (most commonly "The Thieves Couple" amongst others). This does mean that not all players have the opportunity to complete two daily quests all the time, but (as you know) the dedicated teams are looking into this further 🙂

The dedicated teams have also confirmed that, generally speaking, all other online content (such as Animus Store content, Ubisoft Connect timed Challenges etc) should be the same for all players, and that there shouldn't be too much variation between this. Of course, there can be variation depending on your own in-game profile (for instance, if you've purchased all of the Animus Store specials for that week, you won't see anything available to purchase in that Store tab).

I have shared the report you've provided to the dedicated teams regarding the online servers and different daily contracts, as well as your concerns that this could potentially cause more issues as a result. For now, this is considered to be working as intended, but the dedicated teams will take your feedback into further consideration.

Outside of the servers, it is possible that some in-game content may differ depending on the region the game was purchased from. For instance, some regions will have different languages available, and I'm aware that there can be less in-game violence/nudity in some region-specific versions of the game. This information is generally shared to players on the official store pages for their region, though.

I hope that provides you with some more information about the online servers, and helps to alleviate any concerns you may have had. If you do encounter any trouble with the online servers or daily/weekly contracts, do let us know! Additionally, feel welcome to continue using this thread to track your findings regarding the different daily contracts if this is something you're interested in learning more about!
