[2021] Assassins creed Valhalla crashes when I try to load up my save game

Hey @TheRadtrooper, thanks for getting in touch, welcome to forums and sorry to hear about the issue you ran into there, as I do understand this is certainly not something you'd want to deal with after coming back to play it.

First and foremost, can I double-check whether there are any error messages you receive at all? Also, do you happen to recall what happened in the game prior to this happening?

So when you attempt to load it, does the game just simply turn off or does it not load the save as you attempt to do so however game stays open?

As far as other query goes, I was referring to in-game and whether you happen to recall as to what was the last thing you did? I will understand if you won't however as there may have been quite some time passed since you played it last time.

Finally, can you check to see if your save files are still present? If you're playing on Xbox Series X/S, it should be in My Games and Apps > Assassin's Creed Valhalla > Menu > Manage game and add-ons > Saved Data
