[2022] Why is AC Valhalla not launching on PC?

Hi! Today I bought AC Valhalla trough the Epic Games Store but after hours of trying I still can't find a way to make it launch.

How I tried starting the game:

Launching the game trough the Epic Games Store (does nothing)
Launching the game trough the desktop icon (does nothing)
Launching the game trough ACvalhalla.exe gives me 2 options to play offline or online, but both eventually end in closing the client without the game starting

How I tried fixing said issues:

Re-downloading and installing the game several times
Every basic step such as checking for PC requirements and disk space
Updating my drivers several times
Updating everything related to Ubisoft services
Launching in administrator mode

In the end I just have a whole bunch of Epic Games and Ubisoft processes running, but no game.
Does anyone know of a solution? Thanks!

I'm sorry that your game is not launching! Hopefully, we can get this figured out so that you can have fun playing the game. I know you mentioned you've already tried some troubleshooting steps, but please be sure to go through our guide here and make sure you've tried those as well. Please also verify your game files if you haven't yet as this step can help fix any files that may have been corrupted during the uninstall/reinstall process. If the issue persists, please uninstall/reinstall the game again but this time, when you reinstall, make sure to reinstall the game and the Ubisoft Connect/Epic Games client on the same drive. It should be your OS/C drive. This can help fix the issue of our games crashing at startup. Also, make sure the game isn't installed on a Microsoft Storage Space Device. These are known to cause issues for our games and will cause them to crash/not launch properly.
