I purchased Valhalla on Steam. I am able to play it with no issues on my desktop PC. However when trying to play on my Steam Deck, the game will not load. It gets stuck in the Ubisoft Connect launcher "synchronizing my achievements from the cloud". It never gets past that. It doesn't error. It just spins and spins.
Watching videos on YouTube, others seem to boot in with no problem.
Any help to fix this?

Valve tests and verifies titles as supported on Steam Deck.
They've labelled Assassin's Creed: Valhalla as 'Playable' on the platform, meaning some additional configuration may be required to get the game to run.
We're limited in the guidance we can offer when it comes to the Steam Deck, however Valve do have a troubleshooting guide with some steps that may be able to assist you, available here.
There's also the Steam Deck Steam Discussions board where other players may be able to offer some further insight.
