After the V.7 update to AC Valhalla on ps4 I have an issue that i foind players were experiencing in 2021 last year same time. The issue still remains .
The bug is how players cannot complete War Game & Test Your Metal to count towards the completion to the festival making it impossible to complete Final Offering.
Players attempting to speak to Swinda and select a weapon are then left just standing alone in the circle with cheers and no cutscene or actions.
Players who play orlog with Alwin & win does not count as completed.
I was experiencing these issues & I ended up starting The Forgotten Saga dream. I instantly opted to wake up & when I came back to Ravensthorpe I was back in the circle & saw the cutscene with my jomsviking but then once again I stood alone in the circle with nothing but cheers happening.
I triend to reload the game & do different things multiple times. Here is a fix that worked for me as a workaround for the bug:
DO NOT SPEAK TO Swinda
DO NOT PLAY ORLOG w/ Alwin
Go directly to the statues around the offering boat. Each time you interact w/ the statue you will receive 3 tasks to complete. Complete all statues (4 in total). I did the 3 closest to the boat first. I did the one with the pig task 2nd. After the only remaining statue furthest from the boat around the ring, I played Orlog as it told me to in upper left of screen. I played once & won & it was completed. Then proceeded to speak to Swinda. the cutscene worked & was able to complete all 3 weapons.
It is worth noting after I completed Final Offering I am no longer able to do the tournament with Swinda without experiencing the bug. Hope that helps till Ubisoft figures this one out.
Ubisoft should fix this issue.
