[2022] Unable to progress hidden blade training

I am unable to progress through the Hidden Blade Training. I kill the first dummy. I half kill the second dummy and the get told to perform the assassination while hanging off a ledge but nothing else happen. I can’t kill anything whether hanging on a ledge or otherwise.

I tried going back to a previous save and starting again but get the same issue.

any one know how to resolve this?
