To clarify the situation, challenges are usually being updated within 24 hours

Though our Ubisoft Connect Challenges should update fairly quickly, if there is ongoing degradation or connectivity issues, it can take longer. In these cases, we do ask players to wait up to 24 hours for the servers to be updated. If you notice that your challenge still hasn't updated in 24 hours and there is no degradation taking place (you can check for that in our Ubisoft General forums and on our official Twitter page), then please don't hesitate to reach out so we can look into this further.
Personally, I've sometimes noticed that a challenge won't update for a couple of hours, but even if it updates after the challenge end, I still usually get any rewards tied to it. As @SpirantCrayon22 shares in their first post, rewards can still be claimed for some time after the end of the event, so don't worry if you can't claim them immediately.
