How does new settings affect the Combat Difficulty?
I noticed now Combat Difficulty is tied with Level Scaling (ok...), but when you change anything, Combat Difficulty changes to "Custom", and what does that mean?
@Ubi-Keo, can you confirm that when we start choosing from new settings (eg. different Parry timing-window than in pre-set Combat Difficulty), the difficulty stays the same?
Because I'm worried that setttings like "damage received", "damage inflicted", "rations heal" get lost somewhere.

Hey @bielik01

There shouldn't be changes to the damage received, dealt or heal amount. It is only these timing options to make the combat and stealth a little more challenging or easier:

Combat difficulty settings

  • Aim Assist (Full, Moderate, Light, Off)
  • Level Scaling (Off, Default, Constant, Harder, Nightmarish)
  • Parry timing window (400, 650, 800 ms)
  • Brush with Death timing-window (300, 400, 600 ms)
  • Brush with Death Duration (1, 1.5, 2, 2.5 sec)

Stealth difficulty settings

  • Guaranteed Assassination (ON/OFF)
  • Detection escape (0.5, 1, 2 sec)
  • Detection escape while aiming (1, 2, 4 sec)
  • Search duration (50, 65, 80 sec)
  • Maximum enemies in search (2,3)
