Hello Adventurers,
As you all know, we have been working hard in our fight against cheaters, and wanted to keep you informed of our progress. Although we have removed many accounts involved in fraudulent activity, we are constantly monitoring and improving our processes while looking for further technical solutions. Your reports on suspected cheaters (bots, speed-hackers, scripters, macroers, and so on) are very helpful and massively appreciated.
We are happy to inform the community that in our continued efforts to rid the Albion Online realm of the aforementioned cheaters, as well as accounts involved in RMT and those benefiting from them, we have now banned nearly 104,000 accounts since March 20th, 2023.
Please keep in mind that anyone participating in RMT (Real Money Trading of in-game currency and/or items) – not only sellers but also buyers, mules, distributors – absolutely anyone involved in RMT or any other illicit activity will be banned as this is strictly prohibited by the Terms and Conditions.
This is also a good time to remind everyone of the risks of account phishing, which may come in the form of unofficial giveaways, emails, Discord messages, look-a-like websites and software or tools. Support, Community Managers, Game Masters or moderators will never ask for your password. Anyone doing so and saying they are affiliated with Sandbox Interactive is a fraudster.
Do not give your password to anyone. Do not share it, and absolutely do not enter your login details on any site that is not explicitly albiononline.com. Before entering any login details, always be sure to check the URL: the only official Albion Online site is albiononline.com, regardless of location and language. When in doubt, it is safer to manually enter the URL rather than following a potentially fraudulent link.
Thank you all once again for sending in reports of those who cheat in Albion Online, and we request that you continue to send these reports in order to help us in this ongoing task. Instructions on how to do so can be found at the end of this post.
