So I am in love with this game to the point that I have been making the different recipes that are in restaurants, cafes, and bars of the Tourist Season DLC to feel that deeper immersion into the game.

While I see where most of the ingame recipes are inspired from real life ones, there is one I am not sure of.

Lobster Cheminée

The picture fir this dish in game looks like just a boiled lobster on top of some tobacco leaves but when I google it, it comes up with recipes for lobster thermidor and none that are specifically for Lobster Cheminée.

If the devs don't mind, would they be willing to share what real life recipe inspired the Lobster Cheminée in game?

Yeah, that fits quite well. I reached out to our Narrative Team.

Generally, as you might expect, the recipes are supposed to sound elegant and sophisticated, getting across that Parisian cuisine vibe - they don't necessarily need to be realistic recipes, just mostly plausible.

A specific inspiration here was the 'smoking cloche' which is - and I quote:
"one of those popular modern techniques that is also amusingly pretentious".

Hope that helps ;)
