A friend of mine who is really huge in to ANNO claims that the orignal loading screens for 1800 aren't done digitally, but are in fact, real, psyical paintings that blu byte commisioned and scanned and not the now more common digital paintings that many games use. I went through the dev blogs but I haven't found anything making that claim. Can anyone confirm if the loading screens are in fact real paintings?
