Okay, I bought all the 1800 expansions and am having fun freezing in the arctic and solving puzzles in order to build my palace in Trelawney.

But, at the moment I'm bewildered a bit about tractors. By the time I can build and fuel them I already have many farms working on many islands. The only solution I can come up with is to tear them all down and rebuild them.

How have others confronted this? Do you just leave the farms already established running without tractors? Do you tear down the farms you already have and rebuild? Is there some other solution I am ignoring?

Thanks for your input!

This, essentially! The Tetris-like hunt for the most efficient way to make best use of every last square on your island is a key part of Anno gameplay, and like to give you new reasons to evaluate if you could optimize the available space even further from time to time.
