They’ve been Germans from the first anno game, so not really

Actually, the first two Anno games were developed in Schladming in Austria :)

Looks fantastic! Loving all of the updates. I'm a bit concerned about the aesthetics of the skyscrapers, but I hope they won't clash too much!

The design there is not final as we're still early in development here, but we wanted to give you a first glimpse at how the skyscrapers can change the skyline of your city.

Since they will be modular, the final look will definitely be different.

A question : I bought the complete edition a while back, is this included or do I have to buy it separately?

That is a separate purchase.

Does dlc require a new game or can I activate it I a current play through?

Yes, all Season 3 DLCs can be integrated into your existing saves once again.

When I bought I thought the complete edition would cover all past and future DLCs. I didn't find any advise telling that Edition was only for the current and past seasons passes. This is why it sucks. There is no communication

I disagree somewhat- the store listings are always very clear as to what content they include (in the case of the Complete Edition, Season Passes 1+2). If something is not listed as being included, then you should not expect it.

Don't get me wrong, I fully understand that from the player perspective, it is great to know that you buy a certain version of the game, and then you will have everything (like with Battlefield Premium back in the day), but that also greatly limits our flexibility as developers.

Seasons 2 and 3 were not something that we had always planned to do, but decided at the end of the previous season because we saw that players were still playing a lot, and asking us for more content. However, a new season of content is not cheap to create, and if we couldn't sell those Season 2/ 3 Passes to players, this additional content would likely not happen.

And contrary to something like Battlefield (going back to your example of Premium), Anno is not a series that is coming out every 2 years, so we very much like to keep supporting the game for a longer time if possible.

Best,

Marcel

Hell yeah! SO HYPED

Btw, are the team behind Anno 1800 Europeans? They seem so European to me!

Well, depends how you want to look at it :) We are based in Germany, and are part of a French company. Our studio language is English, and we had 13+ different nationalities work on the game during its development, including non-Europeans :)

As for the trailer, you have 1 1/2 Germans in there :)
